Tap the + button on the Dashboard or at the centre of the tab bar. Enter your value using the numeric keypad, select the meal context (e.g. Fasting, Before Meal, After Meal), and tap Save. You can optionally add a note or tags on the same screen.
Go to Settings › Units and select your preferred measurement unit. All existing readings and charts will be displayed in the new unit immediately. Your readings are always stored internally in mg/dL and converted on the fly, so no data is lost.
GlucoLog Premium unlocks the full chart history (up to 1 year), unlimited PDF reports, the compact doctor report format, and the Medication Tracker. Tap Settings › Upgrade to Premium to see current pricing and start a free trial. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically.
Open iOS Settings › your Apple ID › Subscriptions, find GlucoLog, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. GlucoLog does not offer refunds directly — for refund requests please contact Apple Support.
Open the App, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used when you originally subscribed. The restore is free and happens instantly.
During onboarding you will be asked to connect Apple Health. If you skipped it, go to Settings › Apple Health and tap Connect. iOS will ask you to approve read and write access for blood glucose data. Once connected, new readings you save in GlucoLog will automatically be written to Apple Health, and any blood glucose data already in Apple Health will appear in your history.
Go to Settings › Reminders. Enable the reminders you want (e.g. Morning Check, Bedtime Check) and set the time for each. The App will request notification permission from iOS the first time you enable a reminder. You can manage notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings › Notifications › GlucoLog.
Tap the Reports tab, choose your date range and report format (Compact or Detailed), then tap Generate Report. A preview will appear and you can share or print the PDF using the standard iOS share sheet. GlucoLog Premium subscribers can generate unlimited reports; the free plan includes one report per month.
The App shows ads powered by Google AdMob for users who have not subscribed to Premium. Before showing personalised ads, iOS requires us to ask for your permission to use your device’s advertising identifier. If you decline, you will still see ads — just non-personalised ones. If you subscribe to GlucoLog Premium, ads are disabled entirely and no tracking permission is needed.
You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Yes. All glucose readings, medication records, and health profile data are saved entirely on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this data syncs to your personal iCloud account so your history is available across your Apple devices. We do not have access to your data — it exists between your device and your own Apple account only.
Open the History tab, find the reading you want to remove, and swipe left on it to reveal the Delete button. You can also tap on a reading to view its detail and delete it from there. Deleted readings are also removed from Apple Health if sync is enabled.
Go to Settings › Privacy & Data › Delete All Data. This permanently removes all readings, medication records, and settings from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, the deletion will propagate to your other devices as well.
Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID on both devices and that iCloud is enabled. You can verify this in iOS Settings › your Apple ID › iCloud › Apps using iCloud. Initial sync may take a few minutes after the first launch. If the issue persists, toggling iCloud off and back on for the App can help.
Yes. All logging, charts, and reports work fully offline. An internet connection is only needed when making or restoring a subscription, or when iCloud syncs your data in the background.
